QUEENSRŸCHE Frontman To Sing National Anthem At Mets/Nationals Game In New York
March 26, 2006QUEENSRŸCHE frontman Geoff Tate will sing the national anthem at the New York Mets/Washington Nationals game Shea Stadium in Flushing, New York on April 5 at 7:10 p.m. According to a posting on QUEENSRŸCHE's official web site, the anthem will be aired live during the radio broadcast and after the anthem, a mention will be made of the group's new album, "Operation: Mindcrime II".
"Operation: Mindcrime II" is scheduled for release on April 4 via Rhino. Legendary heavy metal vocalist Ronnie James Dio (BLACK SABBATH, DIO, RAINBOW) makes a guest appearance on the album as "Dr. X".
QUEENSRŸCHE will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Wednesday, March 29.
